10月29日，《廣州市母乳喂養(yǎng)促進(jìn)條例》經(jīng)廣州市第十五屆人大常委會(huì)第二十八次會(huì)議表決通過，將在省人大常委會(huì)會(huì)議審查批準(zhǔn)后正式實(shí)施，這是全國首部促進(jìn)母乳喂養(yǎng)的地方性法規(guī)。

On October 29, the “Regulations on the Promotion of Breastfeeding in Guangzhou” was approved by the twenty-eighth meeting of the 15th Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Guangzhou and will be officially implemented after the review and approval of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress. This is the first promotion in the country. Local regulations for breastfeeding.

法規(guī)案由74名市人大代表于今年1月召開的市第十五屆人大第四次會(huì)議上聯(lián)名提出，經(jīng)市人大常委會(huì)兩次審議后，表決通過。據(jù)市人大常委會(huì)法制工委介紹，條例共二十七條，旨在通過推動(dòng)政府及其部門、醫(yī)療機(jī)構(gòu)、公共場所、用人單位、社會(huì)組織等多方主體，為母乳喂養(yǎng)提供必要的條件和保障。

The regulations were jointly proposed by 74 representatives of the Municipal People's Congress at the 4th meeting of the 15th People's Congress held in January this year. After the two deliberations of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, they were voted through. According to the Legal Work Committee of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, a total of 27 regulations aim to provide the necessary conditions and guarantees for breastfeeding by promoting the government, its departments, medical institutions, public places, employers, and social organizations.
