10月8日，中央廣播電視總臺(tái)央視體育頻道再次發(fā)表聲明 ，決定立即暫停NBA賽事轉(zhuǎn)播安排。

On October 8, the CCTV Sports Channel of the Central Radio and Television General Administration issued a statement again, deciding to immediately suspend the NBA tournament broadcast arrangements.

我們注意到正在日本參加活動(dòng)的NBA總裁亞當(dāng)·肖華回應(yīng)休斯敦火箭隊(duì)總經(jīng)理莫雷發(fā)表涉港不當(dāng)言論一事。對(duì)亞當(dāng)?肖華聲稱支持莫雷自由表達(dá)權(quán)利的說(shuō)辭，我們予以強(qiáng)烈不滿和反對(duì)。我們認(rèn)為，任何挑戰(zhàn)國(guó)家主權(quán)和社會(huì)穩(wěn)定的言論，不屬于言論自由的范疇。

We have noticed that Adam Shaw, the NBA president who is participating in the event in Japan, responded to the Houston Rockets general manager Morey’s announcement of inappropriate Hong Kong-related remarks. We strongly dissatisfied and opposed Adam’s claim to support Morey’s free expression of rights. We believe that any speech that challenges national sovereignty and social stability is not within the scope of freedom of speech.

為此，中央廣播電視總臺(tái)央視體育頻道決定，立即暫停NBA季前賽（中國(guó)賽）目前的轉(zhuǎn)播安排，立即排查涉及NBA的一切合作交流。

NBA中國(guó)8日中午向媒體發(fā)布信息，原定在當(dāng)日下午舉行的NBA關(guān)懷行動(dòng)被取消。不過(guò)截至記者發(fā)稿時(shí)，2019湖人籃網(wǎng)中國(guó)賽并沒有傳來(lái)關(guān)于取消的正式信息。

NBA China released information to the media at noon on the 8th, and the NBA Care Action scheduled to be held on the afternoon of the same day was cancelled. However, as of press time, the 2019 Lakers Nets China Games did not send official information about the cancellation.
