On the afternoon of the 16th, the Hong Kong Major League guards held a press conference and announced that it would join hands with the Hong Kong community to hold a "Anti-Violence, Save Hong Kong" rally in the Tamar Park in Admiralty from 5 pm to 6:30 pm on the 17th to fully express Hong Kong. The society opposes all forms of violence, calls for harmony and stability, and restores the mainstream public opinion of the normal order of society as soon as possible. The main appeals of the rally included a total of seven items, including: chaos, violence, no disturbance, no destruction, obeying the rule of law, blocking the tears, and returning to the right track.

16日下午，守護(hù)香港大聯(lián)盟召開(kāi)記者會(huì)，宣布其聯(lián)同香港社會(huì)各界，于17日下午5點(diǎn)到6點(diǎn)半，在金鐘添馬公園舉行“反暴力、救香港”大集會(huì)，以充分表達(dá)香港社會(huì)反對(duì)一切形式的暴力，呼吁和諧穩(wěn)定，盡快恢復(fù)社會(huì)正常秩序的主流民意。此次集會(huì)的主要訴求共7項(xiàng)，包括：亂夠了、停暴力、勿擾民、止破壞、守法治、阻撕裂、返正軌。
