The Liangzhu Archaeological Ruins, China's latest entry on the UNESCO World Heritage List, started accepting public visitors on Sunday.

Located on the river plain on the outskirts of Hangzhou in Zhejiang Province, the ancient city dates back to 3,300-2,300 B.C. It is "considered to be a supreme achievement of prehistoric rice-cultivating civilization of China and East Asia over 5,000 years ago and an outstanding example of early urban civilization," said a report by the International Council on Monuments and Sites.這座古城位于浙江省杭州市郊的河流平原上，其歷史可以追溯到公元前3,300-2,300。 國際古跡遺址理事會的一份報(bào)告稱，它“被認(rèn)為是5000多年前中國和東亞史前稻米文化的最高成就，也是早期城市文明的杰出典范”。
