1. get along with someone 跟某人合得來(lái)。


The two of them seem to get along really well.

他們倆好象特合得來(lái)。

She is easy to get along with.

她這人特好相處。

I've requested to transfer to a different team. I just couldn't get along with Jack.

我要求換到別的組去，我跟Jack實(shí)在是合不來(lái)。

2. coop up 關(guān)在什么地方。


She cooped herself up in the library before the exam.

考試前，她整天泡在圖書(shū)館里。

The kids spent three days cooped up in the house because of the rain.

4. walk a fine line 意思是在二者間找到平衡。

5. I'm just looking. 或是 I'm only looking. 我只是隨便看看。

去商店買東西，sales person 會(huì)問(wèn)，Can I help you? Do you need any help? Can I help you find anything?(你有什么特別要找的東西嗎？)

你就可以說(shuō)， I’m just looking. I’m only looking. 我就是隨便看看。
